After successful dental practices in the Illawarra nearly 60 years – ‘Woonona Dentists’ and ‘Dapto Dentists’, expanded our reach and have established Shellharbour Dentists in 2024. Shellharbour Dentists, previously known as Centre Health Dental has been serving the local community of Shellharbour and surrounding suburbs for the last 18 years and has built a loyal patient base over that time.
Dr Rashid started the Centre Health Medical complex in 2006 aiming to bring on various healthcare practitioners under one roof with the intention of providing noteworthy care. With the establishment of the dental practice over two decades ago, the practice was headed by Dr. Mazin Ardi since 2015. In 2024, with the aim of delivering care to an area of genuine dental need, Mr Shinu Joseph and Dr Mohit Tolani decided to bring the practice under their leadership and formed, ‘Shellharbour Dentists’ – born out of a commitment to excellence.
From the outset, our goal has been to create a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel at ease while receiving top-notch dental services. *Gap free is applicable to health fund insurance holders with dental care coverage within their limit only. If you are with a health fund, the rebate to the practice may be more than $150, meaning no out of pocket expense for you. It cannot be used with any other offer. If the health fund do not pay, patient has to pay $150 for this service. Fees are subject to change from time to time.

We do offer guarantees on crowns, bridges and veneers up to 15 years depending on type of restoration. Talk to our team for details as Terms and conditions apply and will be discussed at the time of your appointment.
Your appointment time has been specifically set aside for you. At Shellharbour Dentists, we do not overbook patients. For us to provide you with optimum care we need to allocate an appropriate amount of time to carry out the necessary treatment. Should you fail to notify us that you are unable to attend your appointment, it will affect three of our team members’ time and disadvantages other patients. We understand that from time to time unforeseen circumstances arise. So please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if you are unable to attend. This gives us the opportunity to offer your appointed time to another patient.
Shellharbour Dentists have strict cancellation policy, as short notice cancellation (Within 24 hours) affects our service provision to needy patients. There will be a cancellation fee of $50 if you fail to attend your appointment or cancel the appointment within 24 hours of your appointment.
