About MediPay Shellharbour

How does MediPay Shellharbour work for dental costs?

MediPay offers payment plans for medical and dental treatment. A plan is an unsecured personal loan, not an instalment service. MediPay says you can borrow from $2,001 to $30,000, that plans run for 48 months and that you can repay sooner with no early repayment penalty.

You apply online. MediPay says it aims to email you a decision in 60 minutes or less. That is a conditional approval. It applies during normal NSW business hours and depends on MediPay getting all the information it needs. Final approval is subject to MediPay's lending criteria.

MediPay charges interest. It also charges a one-off loan approval fee, which it adds to the amount you borrow, and a monthly administration fee. The clinic lists MediPay as a way to pay, but MediPay decides whether to approve you, not the clinic. Ask the clinic whether you can use it for your treatment.
